| Hi, I tried upgrading from sql 2000 t0 2008, but the install crashed and said that it could not strat the sql browser. When I try to start it manually, I get the message :"The sql server browser service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have not work to do." I am unable to start the service.In Event b\viewer, there is an error for the sql bros\wser servcie which says "the sql configuration for sql is inaccessible or invalid"How can I fix this ? |

| i face the same problem, any expertise able to advise so that i can remote from local PC to Server DAtabase, thank in advance. |
