Hi there,

I have a database in MS SQL Server 2000, when i am attaching this file on MS SQL Server 2005 i am getting an error.

"Unable to open the physical file d:\.....\abc.mdf" Operating system error 5: "5(Access is denied)", Microsoft SQL Server error :5120"

What i have to do is to upgrade my database from SQL Server 2000 to 2005.

I have windows 7, 64bit with SQL Server 2005

Please help me out...

You should use backup and restore for this.

Set the permission for the file to the sql server service account.
