guess i'm just suspicious when someone is still running sql 2000 RTM. post indicates they've been using it for some time, so why no updates applied?not saying i know it, just guessing. |

Nah, there are unfortunately loads of businesses out there with people using non Service Packed versions.. The mail client failing was a 'feature' of SQL 2000, got it loads of times, even with SP4, think it actually ended up being MSSearch causing the issue bizarrely, but is probably more hardware/software compatibility related.The only way I ever found around it was to reinstall the outlook client. |
