In general you get what the godlike moderators give you. (

)

There are two main ways to get a custom title.

1) work hard, answer a lot of questions, give a lot back to the forum

2) Be a *complete* asshat. Be warned though that if you choose this way the bar is already pretty high.

The titles are as follows:

Posts   Title
0	Starting Member
50	Yak Posting Veteran
100	Posting Yak  Master
250	Constraint Violating Yak Guru
500	Aged Yak Warrior
1000	Flowing Fount of Yak Knowledge

As Transact Charlie and MVJ mentioned, custom titles can be assigned for numerous reasons (and at any time). But if you continue posting you'll get the above titles based on post count.
