We have multiple applications running on a dev server, and all of them can access our database with no problems, except my newest project. I have copied the connection string from another one of our applications, so I know that isn't the problem. The app runs perfectly fine on another server, but not the one it should be on.I have tried pinging the db server from the dev server and it fails, but our other applications are able to connect to it anyways.Any ideas? |

By removing the <identity impersonate="true"/> line from the web.config file, the application was able to access the database with no problems (even though the servers still can't ping each other). Thanks for the suggestions Tara, I have bookmarked your blog post for future reference. |
