Hi folks.

If I have a Windows 2008 or Windows 7 configured in 64bit, will the 64bit version of SQL Server 2008 R2 have a significantly better performance over the 32bit version? Have any of you studied this by chance? Thanks!

Mike

Yes the 64-bit version has a significant performance boost over 32-bit.
