Author  Topic  stuart62 Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2010-04-21 : 12:26:25 I have been trying to install replication components on SQL Server 2005 Express version 9.0.4053. Using SQLEXPR_ADV.exe for SP3 and select entire feature to be installed for Replication under Database Services. Leave Named instance checked. When I click Installed instances says version 9.3.4035.00. Then get the following components that you chose to install are already installed on the machine. To view a report of available options and alternatives click on details. This is displayed in details: Name: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (SQLEXPRESS) Allowed Action: Upgrade Reason: Product can be upgraded to a new version Please can someone explain how I can get these components when they are not installed.
