| Hi,Currently my sql server 2005 version is as follows.productversion => 9.00.3042.00product level => SP2 edition => Standard.Now Iam planning to upgrade to SQL Server 2003 latest server pack SP3.Can I forsee any problems in installation. as I read from many sites that this upgradation is a bit difficult. and in case of failure entire sql server 2005 need to be re-installed.Could anybody please advice the problems they faced and how to overcome them.Thanks very much in advance |

| FWIW we install Service Packs on DEV server, restore backup from the Live server/database, update the service pack, and perform regression tests.Then nothing can go wrong when we roll out to the Live/Production server, right?!! |

Upgrading sql server 2005 SP2 to SP3
