I'm importing from a tab delimited flat file to a SQL 2005 table. One of the fields is company name and some names include a comma. On only those names, quotes are being added to the imported data. I've tried the advanced settings on the source to mark the particular column as text qualified and not qualified and have tired different qualifiers. How can I prevent the double quotes from being added? Thanks.

Can't you just remove them with an UPDATE statement? If that's not an option, try bcp.exe or BULK INSERT command.
