Hi

I have SQL Server 2005 SP2 installed on a server with SSAS. The server has 24GB of RAM. The CPU usage is low and Memory as well (highest Mem Usage msmdsrv 636MB and sqlserv 145MB) however the Page File Usage is 22GB. Any ideas what can cause that situation?

Thank you

AK

It's probably because the sysadmin set the initial page file size to a high number, which means it would never be lower than that number. Check out the page file properties.

The initial size is 4096 MB (D drive) and 2046 MB (C drive). Does sounds reasonable, doesn't it? Thank you, AK
