| I have configured it and can send a test email from it however from a maintenance plan I cannot send an email all I get is in the error log (not the email error log):Date 3/9/2010 7:49:39 AMLog SQL Agent (Current - 3/9/2010 7:49:00 AM)Message[264] An attempt was made to send an email when no email session has been establishedthe maintenance plan is run by the sa account subbing in other accounts ie domain ones doesn't help...any ideas? |

| Try opening the SQL Server Agent properties, Alert System tab and click 'Enable Mail Profile''Mail System' = Database Mail'Mail Profile# = Profile Name |

| You should restart SQL Server Agent for mail profile to kick off through jobs. |
