I was recommending Joe Celko as an author to somebody, and realized I wasn't sure how to pronouce his last name... Is the CEL pronounced as in:

--cell?
--cello?
--celtic? (hard C)

Forgive me; it's stuck in my head and is bugging the heck out of me!

Figured people here would know. TIA.

Why don't you send him an email and ask (http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/pop_profile.asp?mode=display&id=2411)

Is it just me, or does he look like the Genie in Aladdin (minus the topknot)?

Another Celko question. Is he living in some sort of 10 day timewarp?
All his posts here seem to be to threads that went quiet over a week ago.

more like a clean-up/spring-clean session.....spit + polish being applied to solutions already delivered to meaty problems....after all how many of the current problem's can be solved by RTFAQ?

it's good to review past lessons....often an outside view can enhance existing knowledge.

Hmm... depends whether it's useful or "kill the person who created the schema", "this is NP complete", [it isn't really] and "buy my books"

No, what makes yuou think that?

Actually, I am the best dressed man of 1965. I just get over to SQLTeam later than I get to DevDex.
