Hi,i have a db having around 250 tables and more to come by. We have just a primary file. so i have decided to split the filesThese are my Consideration. 1)primary file containing only system tables2)1st .ndf file containing read-only tables3)2nd .ndf file containing highly transaction tables4)3rd .ndf file containing tables with freq used joins .Any corrections needed.Iam a slow walker but i never walk back |

Then splitting the database into several files is not likely to accomplish anything useful. What exactly are you trying to accomplish by creating these three secondary files? |
