I have a server that was decommissioned, but prior to doing so we did NOT uncheck the "Monitor Server Instance" check box, so now I continue to get alerts for a database that no longer exists.I've looked many places but can't seem to figure out what I need to remove this log shipped server/db pair from the monitoring server database. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! |

Have you looked at the log shipping stored procedures in Books Online? Never used them before but maybe this one will do the trick:sp_delete_log_shipping_primary_database [ @database = ] 'database'- Lumbagohttp://xkcd.com/327/ |

You need to delete the log shipping configuration by running the below stored procedure on the primary and then recreate the log shipping configuration:EXEC sp_delete_database_backuphistory 'DBName'GOhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa215391(SQL.80).aspx |
