Hello all,This is probably a silly question.I recently upgraded from VS2005 and SQL Server 2005 to 2008 of both apps. After converting my solution file, I can open all my .rdl reports in BIDs just fine. However...how in the world do I edit my query now? It used to be, you'd open a report and it had 3 tabs... Data, Design and Preview. Now it only had Design and Preview and all my hunting and pecking has thus far not found the way to show my query. I can create a NEW query but for all the 100 old reports I have, I'd like to be able to update them when I need to make changes; ideally in the same app =)Basically I'm just trying to get back to the generic query designer view (instead of graphical query designer).Basically what I want to see is (like from 2005) this:But what I see in 2008 is (note the missing Data button) this:Ideas? =)Thanks! |

Okay so I found it at long last. I'm not sure how I missed it so often; turns out you can go into the report data menu on the left straight into the dataset and the query is now stored there. Good to know =) |
