I've been looking for a solution but found a lot of confusing topics.

Is it possible to connect to an iSeries DB2 database with SQL Server 2005 management tool?

If so, how?

TIA!

If iSeries DB2 has a driver for SQL Server, then yes.

You can create a linked server to it, but you aren't going to connect directly as you do to a SQL Server instance.

We used to use Client Access driver. Can also use Microsoft OLEDB Driver for DB2
