Has anyone had any problems with SP3. I plan to install it and
and CU5 as STD Edition is running and 'lock pages' feature is part of this CU. I'm having erratic memory behavior on this box (possible leak).

Any other steps recommended other than bkup user/sys db's.

thanks

I've been running SP3 for a while now without any issues. We are at the hotfix just before CU5 and just after CU4. There was a critical SQL hotfix released in October in between CU4 and CU5. CU5 had just been released, so we weren't comfortable installing that yet.

No, you should at least get to the critical SQL hotfix after CU4 was released as it contains a critical security patch. Or just install CU5 as I'm pretty sure it includes October's critical hotfix.
