We have 2000 Version SQL Server Database server and mainly driven by the maintenance plans to take the backup and transaction logs.Occassionally it fails without any intervention of and once it got REFRESHED several times will be succeeded. However, despite failure it generates backups or transaction logs. I couldn't understand why it fails despite taking any backup, I have even checked the Error log File but there is no evidence as to what went wrong. But We do have 2005 Server and when maintenance plans fails it clearly says the concerned backup or transaction won't perform at all.Can anyone deduce this phenomenon explain to memany thanks to all participated and many time I got the answer from you experts. |
