I'm looking to get savvy in DB design...I work for an engineering corporation, so the sales examples that most DB books have are completely lost on me...My main functions are: - Engineering issue management and project management
- Management visibility... Dashboards, workflow, etc..
What books out there are better for those specific designs? Thanks a million folks! |

Data modelling skills are pretty generic. They shouldn't generally be tied to any one business domain.Among my favourite books are:Information Modeling and Relational Databases by Terry HalpinPractical Issues in Database Management by Fabian Pascal |
