Hello!

We are preparing to install SQL Server 2008 Active/Active Cluster on Windows 2008. We are currently contemplating whether we need a dedicated drive for msdtc resource, etc. I was wondering if somebody can recommend any good articles/white papers with step by step instructions/best practices starting from OS installation/configuration and covering SQL Server part as well.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Igor

Hello,

Dedicated drive for MSDTC is required only if we are creating dedicated group for MSDTC instance.

This is the best white paper explains everything.
