Hi,
I am building ssis packages to import source files into sql server.
Each file is very big in size.
Is it (best/easier/less of a problem) to have these source files in .xls or .csv ?

Hi,
Pls kep in the file in.csv you will be in safer side..xls may hang the process if the date is more.

you mean if the data is more i.e. excel only takes about 65000 whereas .csv can take more tahn that?
