| (1)When the server goes down, will sql server error log and sql server agent error log be cleared?(2)If yes, then how do i troubleshoot? Is windows event log the only way? |

| The SQL Server error log and sql server agent error log will be cycled. Look at the *log.1 file for the events before the server restart. By default, the last 6 log files are kept. |
