Author  Topic  denap Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2009-09-24 : 15:53:06 Hi, We've got a moderate DW that pulls securities info from several sources, merges data, adds metrics and readies itself for use as a reporting datamart. We struggle with creating enough recons to cover the possible problems and yet are meaningful and actionable and do not create too much noise. We run things like daily rowcount deltas, metrics stdev tests etc. Anyone care to share strategies for recons other than writing 100s of test cases and emailing 'good' & 'bad' results to distribution lists? Are there test harness out there that we should be looking at? thanks -Tom
