I recently installed SQL Server 2008 and somehow made a mess of it. When I try to install certain items through the WPI it tells me that SQL is required and I don't appear to have it installed on my machine. If I knew exactly what I was doing I wouldn't be having this problem in the first place, but it appears to me that I do have it installed. In other instances when I try to connect like through visual webdev, I get an error that says something along the lines of "a network related or instance-specific error occurred and that the server was not found or is not accessible." No clue what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated. |
