Hi,I currently have on application backended by SQLServer 2005 running in the US. This dBase keeps tracks of users login and personalized stuff for the website and it is very heavily used. 20 million current users and growing by large amounts daily. However we are getting popular abroad and we have the need to setup a dBase server cluster and web farm in the UK and in Hongkong. Normal traffic will be directed by location to the closest dBase clusters through a DNS switch.Because we also want these remote sites to operate as a failover,(ie when US goes down send everyone to UK etc...), I need a way to keep all three dBase's up to date and syncronized in case one users gets directed to another location for whatever reason. Can someone please offer me your ideas on how to best plan and manage such a setup? And perhpas explain some of the pitfalls as well.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,JBelthoff• Hosts Station is a Professional Asp Hosting Provider› As far as myself... I do this for fun! |
