Do you have SQL backups of your databases?

My guess is that the disk is failing. Have you tried Chkdsk or other disk checking tools?

Why do you only have a very old backup of important data?

Hey! restore the renamed file from backup. But, if you do not have backup then it is really a worrying situation. Hmmmm! now go on repairing the renamed file because the file is now corrupt due to virus attack. use Kernel for SQL for repairing the damaged file.
