the last few years has seen me doing less and less actual SQL development or DBA work. I have now put the final nail in the coffin of my SQL career and accepted a new job as 'Head of Project Management'. excited? yes, but also kind of sad. am i still expecting a junior dba at christmas? or is it a junior project manager now?maybe i'll start a blog on managing database builds with SCRUM so i can feel a bit nerdy. oh well, here i go... I wish you all the best.Project Management is rather different to SQL development or DBA work.It can become very stressful but I hope you will stand that.I would like to be a member of the project team with such a beautiful management No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

Well, it's good to shake up your career now and again. Congrats...And speaking of shaking it up:I hope you thought to get some tatoo on your belly so that as your little PM/DBA grows it blossoms into something. Be One with the OptimizerTG |
