HiI am Rachael from Israel and work in a company as database administrator. I want to upgrade my skills and learn Microsoft SQL Server 2008. How is Koenig Solutions in India. And do I need VISA to go there? Do they provide sufficient hands-on? What is the knowledge level of their trainers? |

Hi Rachael,I have just completed the SQL Server 2005 Boot Camp in the GOA centre of Koenig in India.I did 2005 as I am new to the DBA scene and wanted to grasp an understanding of the basics prior to learning the differences between 2005 and 2008.The training centre in GOA is excellent, the centre consists of multiple labs that are used for your learning, I did the regular track 1:1 training and being somewhat unskilled in this particular area, felt that the 1:1 training was better suited to me. The cost to go 1:1 was very little compared to the UK where you simply CANNOT get the 1:1 training.GOA is a fascinating place and I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone.I stayed in a serviced apartment about 5 mins walk away from the training centre, it was clean, air conditioned and had all modern appliances that you required whilst away from home, washing machine, hob, fridge/freezer, hot shower, telephone, wifi etc....All of the staff were pleasant and very helpful to ensure that your stay in India was as comfortable as possible. If you wish to talk privately, please email me back and we can chat when suitable. I do not have any negative experiences to report at all.ThanksSteve MuscuttUK |
