| Hello Friends,I am using Windows vista business(64 bit).After struggling a lot i have installed sql server 2008 succesfully.Now i have downloaded the adventure works 2008 from the below link,http://sqlserversamples.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=18648i installed SQL2008.All_Product_Samples_Without_DBs.x64.msi successfully by enabling the prequisites like full text search and file stream.Now the problem comes when i want to attach this database to the sql server management studio databases,i am unable to find the mdf files in theC:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA folder,like when i expanded the DATA folder in the attachement wizard.But if go through the MY Computer option to this folder i am able to see all the mdf files and log files.Even I have all the files in C:/Program%20Files/Microsoft%20SQL%20Server/100/Tools/Samples/I dont understand why it is..I am spent like 2 days in figuring out my self but it was unsuccesful.Pls help.i appreciate it.Thanks,Dheera |
