I am the secretary for a small hawaiian church, i do not have any programming knowledge. This is what I want to do: I need to make a database (using Access) for our church members (approx 150 names etc.) and i want to use it for mailings, info etc. - i have access and have downloaded SQL Express 2008 - i don't know anything about sql and when i try to start my access project it asks me to sign on to the sql server - i know for you guys this is basic but if you could direct me to the "i'm a basic user and don't understand" forum that would be great. i know that i installed the sql server - but i cannot get it to work - i keep getting the error message that sql server not found - how do i tell if it is running/installed/compatable whatever. thanks to anyone who has the patience to help me - novice at best |

For 150 members, you don't really need SQL Server for the purposes you describe. N 56°04'39.26"E 12°55'05.63" |
