I have log shipping across WAN which has failed and the secondary is in restoring mode.

'restore database dbname with recovery' fails with a 4319 message 'a previous restore operation was interrupted'. The log file which could not be restored has been deleted.

Is there any way I can recover data from the secondary? I have tried everything I can think of to get this database out of the 'recovering' state and nothing works.

I'd greatly appreciate any assistance : )

Do you have Previous Log backup file? WHY did you delete the log backup file?

Hi sodeep, I don't have the log files, my log shipping is set to delete log files after 3 days and I didn't notice the problem until after the 3 days had elapsed.
