Hi All,I have a client DB server running windows server 2003 (Enterprise x64 edition - service pack2).The C drive is almost full. I dont want to ask Client to clean it up since they wont get back to me before 2 days and I need to work on the server today. I already run diskcleanup and have manually empty temp folder under windows folder but it did not help much. I see a user sqlmgrusr (C:\Documents and Settings\sqlmgrusr). This user has a temp folder (C:\Documents and Settings\sqlmgrusr\Local Settings\Temp) which has more than 9 GB of space. It has *.tmp files in it. See screenshot at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7714646@N07/3656946991/sizes/o/ I also see this sqlmgrusr user under SQL Managment Studio 2005. See screeshot at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7714646@N07/3656946925/sizes/o/This sqlmgrusr user has mapping to report server. See screenshot at:http://www.flickr.com/photos/7714646@N07/3656946951/sizes/o/I have a domain account on this server. My question is that is it safe to delete all *.temp files from this user temp folder (C:\Documents and Settings\sqlmgrusr\Local Settings\Temp) . Please suggest. I want to be 100% sure that it is safe to delete all the data from temp folder for this sqlmgrusr. |
