This may sound difficult, but I don't think it is. I have reports served to a report server and some pdf subscriptions sent to different places on a network. In the interest of lowering network traffic, I thought about exporting these reports in an XML format (would that be correct?) and deploying them in an RSS Feed so each person subscribed gets them delivered to their own account. These are small reports and are now run 100s of times each day rather than just looked at at some place on the network. And even if they are viewed on the network, it may be faster than "running" them every time, but it is still going to consume resources if they view the same report repeatedly. Ideally, they could subscribe to an RSS feed that would dump a copy into their account (preferably their own machine) which would dump all the reports ONE time onto their machine and they could view them from there. How can I do this?Duane |
