| I need to deploy a report. The report uses a db on our test server but my report (and the db) will need to eventually reside on our production server. It may be a dumb question but rather than having to move the report later, is it possible for me to deploy the report to the production server now or do I need to deploy it to the server where the test db it is using resides now? |

| you can deploy report to production server provided you've permission to deploy but its always better to deploy it on testdb and see how it goes before trying on production. |
