| I exporting report excel from reporting services, and if there is a lot of data with a size of 5 MB, it takes a very long time to generate ? If i generate to the web, its quite fast.Is there any solution for this or update to the reporting service to speed up the performance ?Using Sql server 2005.Thank You. |

| Yes, You are right.In BIDS report takes long for big size while exporting.However, it works faster when you export from deployed report.The deployed report have caching of the data available, which helps for faster export.Unfortunately, Tthere is no other alternative available which can help in performance improvement.Cheers !!--Vipul Mochi |
