We're in the process of purchasing a new server. It's likely that the new server will run Windows Small Business Server 2008 Premium.

This comes with SQL Server 2008 Standard for Small Businesses.

Could anyone clarify if you are restricted in any way in terms of how many database instances you can run on SQL Server 2008 Standard for Small Businesses? We will need to run at least 2 at this stage.

thanks

thanks very much - 50 instances per server and 32,767 databases per instance - I don't think we've got anything to worry about!

cheers
