HiCould anyone tell whether we can use a common shared disk for backup which can be used by the multiple instances that sit on a single node?If yes, could please tell me the steps to setup a common backup disk for all the instances on a single cluster node? Thank you,Yours SQL Buddy. |

Hi Tara, Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate your help. If I want to take Native SQL backups of all instances that sit on a single node of a cluster onto the local drive (C:\) of that node and then periodically copy those backups onto a tape using Legato will there be any problems? Is this approach possible on a cluster? (Bcs our company is planning to implement this method) Thanks,YoursSQLBuddy |

Hi Tara, Thank you very much for your reply. If it is possible I will try to avoid backing up to the local drive. I really appreciate our help.YoursSQLBuddy |
