We have NAV4 on SQL2005 active/passive cluster.

For technology trial, a DB mirror to another SQL server was also setup with the main NAV DB. And the failover was demo to the bosses in realtime. (They accept manual connect to new server at the moment)

Then I come on board.

(The problems is, the bosses think it is a working Disaster Recovery setup already, and wants to move the mirror DB server off site).

DB users are using Windows Auth to NAV db. I am aware that Master DB cannot be mirrored. (I can imagine a lot of users cannot connect to the mirrored SQL server/DB once failed over)

So, how can I make use of the DB mirror as a longterm solution?
Any method to export users informaiton from Principal Server to Mirrored Server?

My background is System Integration, with very little experience on DBA.

Thanks a lot!

Regards,
Sampson
