Hi

I am finally getting round to migrate SSAS server from 2000 to 2005.

It is no easy conversion to learn the new approaches to things I thought I understood well, but that is another issue.

Is there any equivalent information available to the HTML MetaData views in SQL 2000 Analysis Manager.

For Shared Dimension, it would show member counts, hierachies, and which cubes were using that dimension, along with the Storage Mode and whether it had been processed.

There were similar screens for Cubes too, showing all the structural information along with source table names and last processed dates.

I have found the 'Reports' and 'Properties' features in the SQL Management Studio, but it does give even half of what I would really like.

How can I back-trace which cubes are using a given dimension ?

Thanks for any help.

Simon.
