GReeting,I tried to consolidate my huge in a logical manner so that similar items are grouped together. So I wrapped each group in a Sequqnce Container. So now non of the email feature is working. I have a Notify Error Task and a precendence Constraint that on failure sends an email. Are there any other settings I am missing that by default prevents a failure on a Sequence container not to startup the error task.SSIS is nice but boy one tweak of a property and you are toast. No change in our Exchange server, but it is very problematic, located in East COast of USA whereas we are West Coast.THank you<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>If you don't have the passion to help people, you have no passion |

If you execute a single Sequence container, where does it execute last? Does it hit Send Mail Task and stay yellow or green? |

Thank you Ricky. It just Executes the Sequence container and goes no further. The Send Mail Task does not even happen at all.<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>If you don't have the passion to help people, you have no passion |

Try and isolate the issue by dragging a new Sequence container and place a test Send Mail Task. The idea is to make sure your SMTP setup is done correctly and go from there. Most likely it's the task before hitting Send Mail. |
