I am the DBA here at my company and one of my roles is to deploy SSRS reports the development staff has created into our production environment. I do have a background in software development and reports but I am stumped and could not find any good information on this one.Situation: The report(s) contain and embedded Image (logo). When opened in VS2005 Designer the logo is present. I built the project on my local box and then deployed it to the webserver. When the report is rendered on the site the image box displays a red "x". The only thing I have found by scouring the web is that the ChunkData table actually contains a record where the ChunkName column contains the GUID (f9ffdadc-b268-42cc-96e1-acb0cc5b012e) displayed in the url below but the content column has no image data.If I export report as a TIFF the logo appears.http://myserver/Reports/Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd?ReportSession=0ptubu55xp0y2w55scvg4cil&ControlID=f4d63dc5e89a4f6f8e386575d6236b4a&Culture=1033&UICulture=9&ReportStack=1&OpType=ReportImage&StreamID=f9ffdadc-b268-42cc-96e1-acb0cc5b012eAnyhow one difference is that the report was developed using a version of SQL Server 9.00.1399. The production server is 9.00.3054 and my environment is 9.00.4035.Any help would be appreciated...thanks |
