I have configured a database for database mirroring.I do not use automatic failover because of several reasons.Everything works fine but i still have a question. When the principal server fails completely (a power failure), the mirror server has the following state: 'Mirror/Disconnected,In recovery'.What is the best way to make the mirror available for the public?I think the only way is to remove mirroring (set partner off) en to restore with recovery. Keep in mind that i cannot send the 'set partner failover' to the principal because it's completely offline. Is this the best way? Thanks. |
