I have 2 fields on a report that are formatted as =format(Fields!PickupDate.Value,"yyyy/MM/dd"). Coming from the data base they are a string (char(8)) 20081231 yyyyMMMdd. When I export the reports to excel, a date in the report is 2009/01/04(yyyyMMdd) but in excel it is 39817. Also on my report I have a textbox formatted as =Today and in excel it is 3983-25-2979. Is there something I can do so when I export I do not have a problem with dates?I have been playing around with it and I find even a field from the data base foramtted as a date does the same thing, suggestions? Thanks for the helpCoachBarker |

you may remove format expression and try setting the date format from standard values available from cell properties |
