Hi,

I have the column chart in the image. However, it doesn't seem right.
For example the columns aren't in the right place. The installation process disappearing (green) is placed before the date 02/01/2009 when it occurred on that date.
The chart displays the columns before the date and doesn't draw the columns on the date.

Another issue is that the dates are taken from the db but as you can see 02/01/2009 is followed by 01/02/2009. The client wants me to show also dates between even if nothing happened on these date. Is this possible and if yes then how?
Thanks

if you want to show intermediate dates you need to use a calendar or tally table to get missing dates.the reason its showing lines before date is because i guess you've timepart also coming in dates and your count also involves timepart consideration.

Hi,

The date is a datetime field and the dates have 00:00:00 for the time part. So i don't understand what is wrong with the column chart.

Another question that I asked you in another post and if you don't mind i will ask it here as it's also relvant :-)- if the date is a datetime field then instead of creating a temp table isn't it possible in the report x-axis properties to select numeric or time-scale values and to set the intervals?

Many thanks for your help.
