Hi,My web site is hosting by a company (third party) and they provide us sql server 2005.Now in my local server I am using sql server 2000. My basic requirement is exchanged data from both sides means any new data from remote server (2005) to local server (2000) and vise versa.Please help me is there any readymade solution is available like Linked server or Remote Server? Or I need to write some DTS? Regards,Prakash Paul |

Depends what access you have to the database. Can you connect to it from your local machine or do you just get ftp access.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

well I have both way access ftp and Management Studio even I am able to connect web server through my Intranet but problem is speed "data access speed is very slow but when I used through Internet speed is far far batter then the intranet connectivity" plz suggest any solution.Regards,Prakash Paul |
