We are planning on migrating our SQL 2005 databases to 2008 on a new box - clean install of SQL Server. We have the machine OS configured with Windows Server 2008 Standard x64 and is fully patched. When we run the SQL SErver 2008 setup wizard - there is no where to specify that we want to install the x64 bit version. We go through the entire installation wizard - and no option - even the install path shows C:\Program Files (x86)\...Any ideas/suggestions? Am I missing something really obvious?Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! |
