Can Access VBA DAO code work in SQL Server 2008?

If I have Access VBA code written in DAO then
can this same code works directly on SQL 2008 Server without modification ?

Can Access query works on SQL 2008 Server without modification ?

Do you mean from access or within SQl Server itself?!?

If you mean from Access, then it would depend on the query..

I heard somebody said that DAO VBA code written for MS Access table (ex: recordset, table, table def, query def, etc...) will work on SQL 2008 table without any modification.

If you mean that DAO can be used on a SQL Server linked table in Access, then that's probably true. But the code will not work in a SQL Server stored procedure, and certainly not without modification.
