Hello All,I've been trying to open SQL Server ports on my 3com router. nothing seems to work. Please, even if you do not like routers (I don't seem to stand them anymore) read on.I've got a local network at home. I can connect to SQL server from one computer to the other using 192.168.1.3\SqlServer as the connection sting from where my ASP application is running to the computer which runs SQL Server. Though when I specify my outer ip address, assume nnn.nn.nn : 1433 I don't get anything. I also tried this with nnn.nn.nn , 1433 (note the comma). I opened port 1433 and 144 for both TCP and UDP. What's left?I am using a 3com router (3CRWER100-75 to be more specific). Please help! Thanks,Vondiplo |
