| Hi,I am trying to install the SQL Server 2008 that comes with my Vista computer. I went to the start menu -> all programs... Then the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 folder. I selected Configuration Tools subfolder and then "SQL Server Installation"From there I hit the installation button. Then it asks me to input an installation folder, and when I enter "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server" it says "Not a valid installation folder." Then I'm stumped. I'd love to find out how to install this.Any help would be greatly appreciated.All the Best,GordonG |

Where is the space between Microsoft and SQL words?

| Peso,The space is there, I just mistyped it... No mater what directory I choose it gives me the same exact error. Upon googling further I found someone else who is having the same problem. But no solution yet. |

| Make sure you "Run As Administrator" as Vista protects the Program Files directory. I dont know if this will work, just a thought. |
