Has anyone installed SQL Server 2008 Enterprise for x64? If so, is it a completely seperate install CD from the 32-bit install or is it contained with the same files? I see an x64 folder but I don't see a setup.exe file to start the install.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!Thanks!Dustin |

Yes you have to have the installer for 64bit SQL to install on a 64bit OS. You can install the 32bit SQL on a 64bit OS but you wont be able to take advantage of the 64 bit on both totally. |
